Jacksons Food Stores was proud to partner with the United Dairymen of Idaho to fund an Apple iPad Learning Lab for one lucky elementary school in Idaho. In an effort to continually support developing technology offerings in Idaho schools, Jacksons set aside 5% of their gallon milk sales in Idaho from March 13, 2013 through May 28, 2013 for the “Milk Builds Strong Schools” campaign to fund the iPad Learning Lab.

LearningJacksons was excited to visit the winning school, Valley View Elementary, in Boise on September 6 for the presentation of the new iPads at the school assembly.

Glenn Aguiar, Principal of Valley View Elementary School, thanked Jacksons and United Dairymen of Idaho. “Valley View Elementary is so excited to be receiving the iPad Learning Lab! Our students will appreciate the many learning applications and enrichment opportunities it will provide them. Thank you Jacksons Food Stores and United Dairymen of Idaho!”

The Learning Lab streamlines the management of classroom sets of iPad devices. Each Learning Lab includes 10 iPad devices and a mobile cart, and the cart can store, charge and sync up to 30 IPad devices.
