Apple iPad Learning Lab Donation to Meadowdale Elementary School

Jacksons Food Stores and the United Dairy Farmers of Washington will present an iPad Learning Lab to Meadowdale Elementary School at a special school assembly this Wednesday September 24th at 9:15 a.m.  This donation was made possible through the “Milk Builds Strong Schools” campaign. The campaign, which ran in Jacksons stores in Washington from March 19-May 27, set aside five percent of gallon milk sales to fund an iPad Learning Lab and iPads for the school.

Meadowdale Elementary School was randomly selected in a drawing of public schools in the state.

The iPad Learning Lab streamlines the management of classroom sets of iPad devices. Each lab includes 10 iPad devices and a mobile cart that can store, charge, and sync up to 30 iPad devices. Jacksons and the United Dairy Farmers of Washington are donating a total of 16 iPads.

“We are very excited to receive this iPad Learning Lab since this is the first time our students will be using tablets of any kind in the classroom, says Dan Davis, principal, Meadowdale Elementary.  “The kids are going to be excited because many are already quite tech savvy and will be eager to start using all the countless number of fun educational apps. Thank you so much Jacksons and the Dairy Farmers of Washington!”
